The model has a two-lane configuration. It has a 180 mm diameter bass drive with a patented AS-XR design. The low-frequency driver diffuser is made of a multilayer aluminum-based material; its faceted surface has increased rigidity. The diffuser is mounted on a wide semicircular rubber suspension, which provides piston movement of the diaphragm to obtain high sound pressure. The bass is mounted on a cast aluminum basket and equipped with a powerful magnetic system.
