The Cambridge Audio Min 12 is great for creating 2.1 music systems as well as multi-channel home theater kits. The Dynamic BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) radiator combines the advantages of diffuser and membrane (NXT) designs with a very low distortion level over the entire operating frequency range. The absence of a crossover allows the broadband speaker to display a uniform sound pattern in which the speaker itself is practically not localized. Any suitable subwoofer can be used in conjunction with the Min 12, but Cambridge Audio representatives recommend their own X201 or X301 models for this purpose.
