The JBL 4312G monitors can be used as an independent stereo pair for listening to music at home by placing them on shelves or racks. A 12-inch woofer with a cellulose diffuser is responsible for reproducing low frequencies. In the "middle" there is a five-inch driver with a diffuser made of the same material, the high frequencies are voiced by an inch dome tweeter loaded on a small waveguide.

The high-frequency driver is a 1-inch (25 mm) titanium dome tweeter connected to an acoustic lens and waveguide.
