The new 3000c series features the C3 midrange speaker design with a continuous curved cone. The C3 speaker, used throughout the model range, is designed to eliminate the disadvantages of traditional speakers. Introduced for the first time in the Q Acoustics 5000 series speaker range, the C3 speaker combines the advantages of a traditional rectilinear conical housing for low-frequency reproduction with an expandable housing for medium and high frequency control.

The tweeter is placed in a sealed volume and is completely isolated from the body by means of a "floating" suspension. The midrange/woofer sound coil is 30.5 mm in diameter.
