There is only one dynamic driver in SSR. Unlike the ubiquitous multi-hybrid designs. Moondrop instead used a single (beryllium-coated dome) driver for this neutral-sounding headphone. As a material, beryllium has the right combination of weight and strength/rigidity. Its lightness allows the membrane to move. Its rigidity prevents distortion of the speakers due to excessive bending.
