For Moondrop Illustrious in-ear headphones, a new acoustic camera structure has been developed that effectively dampens standing waves and reduces high-frequency signal diffraction. Moondrop engineers have configured Illustrious according to the HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) diffuse field target curve. As a result, the headphones offer a reference sound response with neutral tuning, produced using the advanced B&W4128C measuring system.
