The key element of Arta is the MZ5 HΩ planar magnetic driver, developed in partnership with Rinaro Isodynamics.

What makes the MZ5HW unusual: it is a planar driver with a record high impedance among all existing planar headphones — 225 ohms. Planar headphones traditionally have a low impedance (30-60 ohms), which makes it easier to swing, but creates certain compromises in linearity. High impedance requires a different approach to amplification — high voltage mode with low current — but theoretically gives a more stable and predictable driver operation.
