The L2.1 Reference is based on a Class A circuit from input to output without general negative feedback. All cascades, including the high—voltage output, are single-cycle. Selected high-voltage transistors (MOSFETs) are used in the signal path, and the volume control is implemented on a high-quality TKD step potentiometer (Tokyo Ko-on Denpa).
The LL2.1 has a topology that provides the most natural sound in an audio channel using pure Class A operation from input to output; all cascades are single-circuit. The preamp's sound-neutral power supply is equipped with a full-wave vacuum rectifier.
