The Octave HP 300 SE is an improved version of the HP 300 MKII. The new device is more versatile in terms of switching, has some improvements in the output stage and has an external power supply, which helps isolate its sensitive circuits from noise and interference from the power grid. It is possible to stepwise change the gain (three options are available), which makes it possible to precisely match the Octave HP 300 SE with the terminal amplifier and speaker.
