The Bryston 7B3 mono amplifier is really special. Although it doesn't differ much from each other, it's a big step forward compared to the venerable 4B3. The power supply for the 7B3 amplifier is built around a transformer with a special winding, which is significantly more efficient than a conventional one. With twice the available power, it can manage all but the toughest loads to near-real levels. But even at the level of a whisper, it reveals details and nuances in your recordings that you didn't even know about until now.
