The model received an improved high-speed PSU with a low noise level and the same field-effect transistors based on gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide diodes as the SU-R1000. The pulse switching frequency was slightly increased from the usual 100 kHz to 400 kHz, which made it possible to stabilize the supply of voltage and current, as well as reduce the effect of modulation noise on sound quality.
