Subscription Agreement & Auto-Renewal Terms

1. Who this agreement is between

This Subscription Agreement is between you (the "Subscriber") and Timelapse Games EOOD ("Hifiverse"), registered in the Republic of Bulgaria, UIC 207599711.

Plus — €5.99/month or €59.90/year

Collector — €29.99/month or €299.90/year (physical music media only — vinyl LPs, CDs, reel-to-reel tapes)

3. How prices are shown

Prices for EU consumers are shown VAT-inclusive. For business subscribers providing a valid EU VAT number, the reverse-charge mechanism applies and prices are shown VAT-exclusive.

4. Payment

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Limited. Accepted methods include credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA Direct Debit. We never see or store your full card number.

If your payment fails, Stripe retries automatically. If we cannot collect payment within 14 days, we suspend paid features and your account drops to the Free tier. Listings beyond the Free-tier allowance are hidden until payment is restored.

5. Auto-renewal

All paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price then in effect. After each renewal we email you a confirmation showing the amount charged, the next renewal date and a one-click "Cancel my subscription" link.

6. Cancellation — as easy as subscribing

You can cancel at any time:

  1. Click "Cancel my subscription" at hifiverse.io/account/subscription, or click the same link in any subscription email.
  2. Confirm your cancellation on the next screen.

From 19 June 2026, this flow satisfies the EU "Cancel my contract" button requirement of Directive 2023/2673.

Cancellation ends auto-renewal. You keep access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancellation does not delete your account, collection, wishlist or past listings.

You may also cancel by writing to info@hifiverse.io. We process email cancellations within two working days.

7. The 14-day right of withdrawal and how you may waive it

If you are an EU/EEA/UK consumer, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from the subscription contract.

Because Hifiverse is a digital service that is delivered immediately, EU law lets you waive this right so you can use the Service straight away. We do this with a dedicated checkbox at checkout (separate from the Terms acceptance box):

I want Hifiverse to begin providing the PLAN NAME subscription immediately, and I acknowledge that by ticking this box I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

To exercise the right of withdrawal where it has not been waived, write to info@hifiverse.io within 14 days of the contract date. We will refund the full amount paid within 14 days, using the same payment method.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Key points:

  • Within the 14-day withdrawal window (and withdrawal right not waived): full refund.
  • After the withdrawal window or after a valid waiver: paid fees are non-refundable for the period already started. You keep paid features through the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Annual subscriptions ended for cause by us: pro-rata refund for the unused portion.
  • Failed-payment grace period: you can restart by paying the outstanding amount; no reactivation fee.

9. Plan changes — upgrades and downgrades

Upgrade: takes effect immediately; we charge the difference on a pro-rata basis.

Downgrade: takes effect on the next renewal date; you keep the higher tier's features until then.

10. Promotions, free trials and discounts

  • A free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends. We email a reminder before conversion.
  • A discount code applies only to the periods stated in the offer; after the discounted periods, the subscription renews at the standard price.
  • A "founder-member" price is honoured for as long as the subscription remains continuously active.

11. Price changes

We give at least 30 days' advance notice by email and on the Platform before any price change. The notice includes the current price, the new price, the effective date, and a one-click "Cancel my subscription" link. You have the right to terminate the contract without penalty before the new price applies. If you do not cancel, the new price applies on the renewal date.

Price changes never apply retroactively.

12. Subscriptions paid by a business

The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to business contracts under EU consumer law. Cancellation, renewal and price-change rules still apply, except where the Dealer Agreement varies them.

13. What happens to your data when you cancel

Cancelling a paid subscription does not delete your data. Your account stays active on the Free tier. You can export your collection, wishlist, listings and other data as JSON or CSV at any time from your account settings. If you also delete your account, the retention rules in the Privacy Policy apply.

14. Changes to this agreement

For changes that affect existing subscribers' rights or pricing, we give at least 30 days' advance notice. Adding new features that do not reduce existing value may take effect immediately.
