SMSL Audio has introduced the flagship desktop DAC SMSL RAW Pro-DAC1 based on the ES9039MSPro chip from ESS Technology. This DAC supports hardware decoding of the signal in the MQA format, which allowed the model to receive MQA and MQA-CD certification.

The output stages of the SMSL PA200 use Infineon GaN FET transistors, providing power up to 160 W for each of the two channels when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 4 Ohms or up to 400 W at 4 Ohms in bridge mode. Harmonic distortion remains at a level of only 0.003%.

The SMSL N100 streamer supports the Apple AirPlay protocol and has built-in clients of streaming music services Tidal, Qobuz, ShoutCast, TuneIN. It can work with signals up to PCM 768 kHz and DSD256 parameters, and MQA format support is also present.

The SMSL PL200T also has the ability to play MQA-CDs and a very interesting function of working as a digital transport - the device can be used as a digital interface with a USB-C input, supporting digital streams in PCM format with a resolution of up to 32 bit/768 kHz and in DSD format up to DSD512.

The SMSL VMV A1 Pro takes advantage of this with a switching frequency of up to 1 MHz — far exceeding the typical 300-500 kHz frequency used in conventional Class D amplifiers.

The device is based on Infineon Class D amplifier modules and a CS431 DAC chip from Cirrus Logic, which allows decoding high-resolution audio in PCM format with parameters up to 32 bits/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD256.

A DAC, MM phono preamplifier, preamplifier, headphone amplifier and powerful power amplifier are combined in one compact case (210×46×254 mm, weight 1.56 kg). The Cirrus Logic CS43131 chip is responsible for the sound quality. The built-in USB interface is built on the XMOS XU-316 circuit. The power amplifier based on Infineon MA5332MS modules produces 2×85 W at 8 Ohm or 2×165 W at 4 Ohm. There is a volume control on the NJW1194A (JRC) chip.

The SMSL D200 external DAC is based on the BD34352EKV chipset, which provides exceptional resolution and clarity, and the advanced XMOS XU316 third-generation 16-core USB processor. The new product supports decoding of digital streams in PCM format with a resolution up to 32 bits / 768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512.

In stereo mode, the SMSL PA400 power amplifier provides 250 watts per channel when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 4Ω and 200 watts per channel at 8Ω. In bridge mode, the power of the amplifier increases to 500 watts when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 8Ω. The amplifier is equipped with both unbalanced analog inputs on RCA connectors and balanced XLR ones.

The key feature of the SMSL PL20 is versatility. In addition to the function of a high-quality CD player, the device offers a unique opportunity to replenish the digital library. The One-Click Lossless CD Rip function allows you to copy a CD to an external USB drive without using a computer or complicated settings. Just press one button and the disc will be saved in WAV format.

The SMSL DL400 DAC is equipped with a fully balanced headphone amplifier built on four high-precision linear feedback modules and 11 premium dual operational amplifiers. This provides an output power of 6 watts per channel when operating on headphones with a nominal resistance of 16 ohms, 3 watts per channel at 32 ohms and 700 MW at 300 ohms — very impressive figures, sufficient even for high-resistance full-size models.

The SMSL AL400 integrated amplifier is equipped with proven TPA3255 amplification modules from Texas Instruments, providing sufficient power for trouble-free operation even with amplification-demanding speakers. Whether you're connecting passive speakers, streaming audio from your TV via HDMI eARC, playing vinyl records, streaming content from your computer, or connecting a gaming console, the SMSL AL400 is ready to meet all your needs.

The output stages use high-quality OPA1612A operational amplifiers, two for each channel. The overall dimensions of the device are 150 x 4.5 x 1 33.1 mm, the device weighs 0.532 kg. The LED indicators located on the front panel show the status of the device, as well as the sampling frequency of the incoming signal.

The SMSL DA-9 has 8 different built-in equalizer modes such as Direct, Tone, Bass, as well as proprietary proprietary settings. SDB is SMSL's proprietary proprietary settings that allow smooth adjustment of high and low frequencies.

The main difference from the previous version is the use of a dual CS43131 chip from Cirrus Logic in the digital-to-analog converter unit. In addition, the device now supports headphones with a balanced 4.4mm jack, and it also has a balanced XLR output. The maximum power of the built-in headphone amplifier is 200 MW with a balanced headphone connection with a resistance of 32 ohms. With an unbalanced connection to a 3.5 mm jack, the power reaches 58 MW.

The device is based on the flagship ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, which is paired with an XMOS XU-316 USB processor. With a THD+N nonlinear distortion factor of only 0.0001% and a dynamic range of up to 122 dB, the DAC MINI delivers exceptionally clear and transparent sound.

The SMSL D-6s DAC proved by its example that there can be really serious high-quality sound in its price segment: with such good pressure, dynamics, drive and at the same time great engagement, expressiveness and simply the ultimate transfer of emotions that were already embedded in the track.

The SMSL VMV P2 MK2 headphone amplifier is built on a parallel architecture with 99 operational amplifiers. This circuit is designed to combine the high voltage range required for full-size high-resistance headphones and the high current required by planar magnetic models. The claimed output power of the amplifier reaches 14 watts per channel.
