The S7 2026 belongs to the current S Series from Magico, a line that began with the S3 in 2023, and Magico presents it as the conclusion of that series. Magico builds it as a three-way tower with five drivers in an aluminium enclosure. Shipping was scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. UK prices are GBP 159,000 per pair in Softec finishes and GBP 178,000 in High Gloss.

Its tweeter has a 28 mm diamond-coated pure beryllium diaphragm, the midrange is a 6 inch Nano-Tec Gen 8 driver and the bass section has three 10 inch Nano-Tec Gen 8 woofers. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 50 kHz, sensitivity is 88 dB and nominal impedance is 4 ohm. Magico recommends amplifiers between 50 W and 1,000 W. The cabinet is 58.17 cm wide, 61.21 cm deep and 141.99 cm high, and each speaker weighs 174 kg.

Engineering and use context

Internal volume rises to 180 litres, compared with 135 litres in the previous largest S Series model, which gives the three woofers more air to work against. The enclosure shape was developed by 3D simulation to reduce internal resonance and increase rigidity, and a curved front baffle reduces diffraction at the cabinet edges. Proprietary damping methods were checked by laser vibrometer analysis to suppress panel vibration. The Nano-Tec Gen 8 cone is an aluminium honeycomb core between graphene-reinforced carbon fibre skins. The tweeter, derived from the M Series, has a neodymium motor and a back chamber optimised by FEA modelling. The three woofers are aligned vertically, a layout taken from the M Project to reduce floor-bounce effects. The midrange uses a 3 inch titanium voice coil, while each woofer has a 5 inch titanium voice coil and 0.5 inch of linear excursion. The Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO) is a three-way network with 24 dB Linkwitz-Riley acoustic slopes, built with Mundorf parts and, for the first time in an S Series model, Duelund Coherent Audio CAST PP Radial capacitors. Magico measured the design on a Near-Field Scanner robot that maps its output in three dimensions. The speaker stands on a three-foot support system with constrained layer damping. Six Softec powder coat finishes and six automotive-style High Gloss finishes are offered.

Pairing

Moderate sensitivity and a low nominal impedance make the S7 2026 a job for a powerful solid-state stereo amplifier or a pair of monoblocks, and small valve amplifiers fall below the recommended power range. The weight on three feet requires a floor able to take a concentrated load, and delivery and positioning need several people.
