The F345 is the more compact of the two towers in the Performa4 series from Revel, the loudspeaker brand of HARMAN Luxury Audio Group, and the company positions it as the smaller option to the F346. The range was announced in April 2026, made its public debut at AXPONA 2026 in Chicago between April 10 and 12, and began shipping the same month. The F345 is priced at USD 4,999 per pair and is a passive three-way design with five drivers per cabinet.

Key specs that matter

Low frequencies come from three 130 mm (5.25 in) woofers whose diaphragms are of Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC), the midrange is a further 130 mm unit built from Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC), and a 25 mm DCC dome looks after the treble. The network divides the signal at 350 Hz and 2.1 kHz. Quoted response runs from 36 Hz to 40 kHz within a 6 dB tolerance either way. Sensitivity is 87 dB measured at 2.83 V and 1 m, impedance is a nominal 6 ohms, and Revel suggests amplifiers delivering 30 W to 225 W. The cabinet is 1038 mm tall, 301.86 mm wide and 352.46 mm deep, and one speaker weighs 29.1 kg, or 38.6 kg in its carton. Finish choices are Walnut and Black Walnut wood veneer.

Engineering and use context

Revel developed the MCC and DCC ceramic composites for this generation to gain stiffness without adding mass. Every woofer and the midrange ride on patented cast aluminium baskets, modelled with Finite Element Analysis for freer airflow, lighter weight and better resonance behaviour than the frames of earlier Revel models, and each driver has an inverted surround with a trim ring formed as part of the unit. With three woofers below the lower crossover point, the midrange works only above that frequency and does not have to reproduce deep bass. The tweeter is mounted in the 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide, which positions it for integration with the midrange and controls how its output spreads into the room. Inside, the enclosure is cross-braced to add rigidity, the side walls are curved, and two bass-reflex ports vent through the back panel. The front grille holds on by magnets, and four floor spikes with four protectors for hard floors are supplied.

Pairing

Dual 5-way crystal brass binding posts linked by shorting straps accept a single cable run, bi-wiring or bi-amping. The nominal load and moderate efficiency suit most solid-state integrated amplifiers and power amplifiers inside Revel's power window. Because both ports face backwards, the towers need some space from the rear wall, and the C245 centre and B140 subwoofer from the same series extend the pair to a home cinema system.
