The Denon Home 600 is the biggest of the three HEOS wireless speakers that Denon released on 24 March 2026, succeeding the Home 150, 250 and 350 range first shown in 2020. At launch it cost USD 799, GBP 599, EUR 699 and AUD 1,499, and like its two smaller siblings it comes in Stone or Charcoal finishes.

Key specs that matter

Eight drivers are fitted, and each has a dedicated class D amplifier channel - two 19 mm tweeters, two 66 mm midrange units, two further 66 mm drivers firing upward and two 165 mm woofers. The cabinet measures 451 x 251 x 226 mm and weighs 8 kg, with a built-in supply for 100 to 240 V mains at 50 or 60 Hz. Wireless options are Wi-Fi across the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands to the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2, and the wired ones a 3.5 mm auxiliary input plus a USB-C port that handles storage devices or an Ethernet adapter.

Engineering and use context

The woofer pair is mounted as an opposing pair, which Denon describes as built-in subwoofers, and splitting the midrange from the tweeters and woofers makes this the only three-way front array in the new series. The pair of up-firing drivers provides the height layer for Dolby Atmos Music from Amazon Music and TIDAL. Streaming support takes in DSD and high-resolution sources including TIDAL, Qobuz and Amazon Music HD, and Roon Ready status lets Roon software address it directly. In the HEOS app the owner can change bass, treble, height and width. Buttons on the top handle volume and playback, recall favourite sources from three preset keys, and a microphone control that turns voice input on or off for Siri commands. A single HEOS household can hold up to 64 devices across 32 zones, from Denon AV receivers to the DP-500BT turntable.

Pairing

Two Home 600 units form a stereo pair, one per channel, and the speaker can be added to a HEOS group with a powered HEOS subwoofer for additional low-frequency output. Behind a Denon Home Sound Bar 550 a pair works as wireless surround channels for TV sound. No phono stage is built in, so a record player without its own preamp cannot go straight into the analogue socket. The auxiliary input accepts a CD player or streamer at line level, and with the USB-C network adapter the speaker stays on a wired connection for large multiroom groups.

Alternatives

The Denon Home 400 is the smaller six-driver model in this series, weighing 4.2 kg and using two 114 mm woofers with two 19 mm tweeters.
