The Caspian 4G Streaming Amplifier is an integrated amp by Roksan, the UK marque owned by Monitor Audio since 2016, that adds the BluOS streaming platform from Lenbrook Industries to a Class AB amplifier, DAC and moving magnet phono stage. It reached the North American market in autumn 2024 at USD 5,000, with a later US list price of USD 7,250, while the UK price is GBP 4,000. Buyers choose black or silver, and the Roksan guarantee lasts five years for both components and work.

Rated output is 105 W per channel into 8 ohms at 1 percent THD with 235 V mains, and 200 W per channel into 4 ohms. THD plus noise stays below 0.007 percent at 1 W and 1 kHz with both channels driven, while SNR exceeds 85 dB at 1 W into 8 ohms with a 2 V input. Analogue sources connect via a balanced XLR pair, twin RCA pairs and an RCA MM phono input. Digital connections include coaxial and optical inputs (two of each), an HDMI eARC port, Gigabit Ethernet and USB-A, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with SBC, AAC and aptX. The Euphoria amplifier is a twin independent Class AB design fed by a 600 VA toroidal transformer and 36,400 uF of capacitance, with six Toshiba output devices per channel. The Rapture DAC uses two TI Burr-Brown PCM1796 chips configured in mono within a differential current-conveyor topology and handles PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz. BluOS supports multi-room playback across up to 64 zones and MQA, AirPlay 2 is built in, and a firmware update added Roon Ready status. The front panel carries a Dynamic Control Dial with haptic feedback, an OLED display, playback buttons and an illuminated volume indicator. An aluminium remote handles volume, track selection, power, mute and menus, and the MaestroUnite app for iOS and Android covers setup. The front and top covers are extruded and machined aluminium, with extruded aluminium heatsinks.

Pairing

HDMI eARC lets a television feed the amplifier directly, so a single box handles television audio as well as music in a stereo system. The phono input takes a turntable with an MM cartridge, and the triggers let connected gear power up together with the amplifier.

The Roksan Caspian 4G Integrated Amplifier keeps the same amplifier and DAC but omits BluOS streaming and costs GBP 3,000 in the UK.
