Japanese manufacturer of High End electronics, Soulnote presented a stereo (2 x 120 W at 4 Ohms) power amplifier A-3core, which implements the concept of "dual mono". Each channel of amplification is powered by a separate toroidal 700 W transformer.

Following the Reference Preamp, the Swiss company Nagra has introduced the Nagra Reference AMP monoblock power amplifiers. The model replaces the well-known Nagra HD AMP and boasts a 25% larger power supply with 2000 VA transformers.

The Canadian company Eon Art has presented an extraordinary solution – the Eon Art Hadron integrated amplifier, which is designed in three blocks for each channel! At first glance, the system looks like it uses two power supplies, but this is not so. One of the modules is responsible for filtering alternating current and converting it into direct current. The second module is, in fact, the power supply of the system. The third is an amplifier. This solution was realized after the company conducted a series of studies on the problems of alternating current for powering high-quality audio sources.

The American company Boulder has released a monoblock power amplifier under the number 1152. According to the developers, Boulder 1152 is capable of driving almost any speaker system on the market. The amplifier is capable of delivering 350 W per channel at 8 Ohm, 600 Ohm at 4 Ohm and 750 Ohm at 2 Ohm load. The compact design has the same footprint as the 1110 preamplifier.
