The Ranieri Audio Labs Varieta preamplifier has been released – the model uses directly heated triodes and allows for a wide range of tubes (300B, 2A3/6A3, 12A/201A, 26, 30, 31, 45, 50, 71A, 801A/10Y, 275A/252A, 245 and 842/VT52 will do). Simply ideal for those wishing to experiment with tube rolling.
The creators note that the Ranieri Audio Labs Varieta model will work perfectly with the entire spectrum of the tubes described above – instantly adjusting to the user’s chosen solution and offering different shades of sound depending on the type of tubes. The device uses low-noise circuitry and a two-stage solution with zero feedback and separate outputs with transformer coupling. A linear stabilized power supply ensures stable and stable operation of the preamplifier, and the auto-bias system eliminates the need for manual current adjustment.
Of other features of the Ranieri Audio Labs Varieta, it is worth noting the element base on Lundahl, Caddock, Alps and WIMA components and a chassis made of extruded aircraft aluminum 6061.
