Silent Angel has introduced the H1 Pure Music Hub, an all-in-one network audio component combining a streamer, DAC, and local music library management system. The new model is the company’s first device to feature a large front-panel display and also marks the debut of the Lifestyle Hub series. Housed in a compact aluminum chassis, the H1 is designed for both desktop audio systems and living-room setups.
The digital-to-analog section of the Silent Angel H1 is built around a pair of ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chips and a third-generation XMOS XU316 USB controller. To reduce jitter, the unit employs a two-stage timing error correction system with asynchronous sample rate conversion (ASRC). The analog stage uses six K-Muse operational amplifiers and two Texas Instruments OPA1612 op-amps, while the power supply is divided into four independent rails to help minimize interference between the digital and analog circuitry.
The software platform is based on Silent Angel’s proprietary Linux-based VitOS operating system, running on a quad-core RK3568 processor with 4 GB of DDR4 memory. The system is designed for bit-perfect playback and local media library management, with its main functions controlled through the VitOS Orbiter app. The front panel features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 × 720 pixels, showing album artwork, track information, and the current operating status.
The Silent Angel H1 supports music playback from external USB drives and NAS network storage, while an internal M.2 NVMe SSD with a capacity of up to 8 TB can also be installed. The system automatically scans the music library, processes metadata, and can split albums with CUE files into individual tracks. The suggested retail price of the Silent Angel H1 Pure Music Hub in Europe is $849.
