ELAC has introduced the Tube 100 integrated tube amplifier, created to mark the German brand’s 100th anniversary. The model combines traditional tube amplification with modern connectivity options, including HDMI ARC and Bluetooth. According to the manufacturer, the Tube 100 could be one of the first fully tube-based integrated amplifiers to feature HDMI support.

The amplifier uses eight vacuum tubes, each housed within protective metal arches and deliberately left visible as part of the design. During operation, the tubes are softly illuminated, emphasizing the character of the construction. The chassis is made predominantly from aluminum and follows a restrained minimalist aesthetic. For analog sources, ELAC claims a fully analog signal path with no solid-state components in the main amplification chain.

Connectivity includes a phono input, line-level RCA, a 3.5 mm AUX input, and HDMI ARC for direct connection to a television. In this configuration, the Tube 100 can serve as the centerpiece of a compact stereo system for movies and TV, with volume control handled via the television remote. Bluetooth is provided for wireless music playback, while a dedicated pre-out allows the connection of an external power amplifier or other compatible components.

The front panel features a large illuminated volume control, a headphone output, and touch-sensitive source selection buttons for Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, AUX, Line, and Phono. ELAC has not yet disclosed the full technical specifications, including output power, frequency response, and noise figures. The recommended retail price of the ELAC Tube 100 integrated tube amplifier in Europe is set at €2,499, with sales expected to begin in spring 2027.
