The Raidho C1.2 is the smallest loudspeaker in the Danish maker's C series, a compact stand-mount built around the Raidho ribbon tweeter and a Ceramix mid-bass driver.

Key specs that matter

Frequency range is 50 Hz to 50 kHz, sensitivity is 85 dB at 2.83 V/m, and the nominal load exceeds 6 ohms. Raidho recommends more than 50 W, and notes that valve amplifiers are also suitable. The single crossover sits at 3 kHz (second order). The cabinet measures 200 x 370 x 360 mm (width x height x depth).

Engineering and use context

The 115 mm mid-bass cone is aluminium coated with ceramic in a high temperature plasma process, which creates a stiff and light diaphragm. The planar magnetic tweeter uses an 11 micron foil weighing 20 mg, with no voice coil. The enclosure is vented through a rear port.

Pairing

Raidho recommends placing the C1.2 on its own low-mass speaker stands.

Alternatives

The Raidho C Centric is a larger 2.5-way monitor in the same C series.
