The Ceramics X is a true wireless earphone from ROSESELSA that adds hybrid active noise cancelling and LDAC streaming to the Ceramics line. It launched at a list price of USD 45.99 and uses a dynamic driver the company calls its first-generation Planck unit. Four microphones, an app with preset voicings and a case rated for several full recharges round out the package, which targets commuting, calls and mobile gaming at a modest price.
Key specs that matter
A 10 mm driver sits in every bud, using a carbon nanotube diaphragm and a 1.5 T dual magnetic circuit. Impedance is 32 ohm and the stated frequency range is 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Bluetooth 5.3 supports LDAC, AAC, mSBC and SBC over a range of 10 m. The earpieces use 40 mAh cells and the case a 500 mAh cell, giving up to 10 hours per charge with ANC on and up to 50 hours with the case. ROSESELSA claims that ten minutes on the charger restores 10 hours of play, while charging from empty over USB-C takes about 40 minutes. Each earpiece weighs around 4.5 g and the case 31.3 g. The ANC system cuts noise by up to 55 dB across a band reaching 4,000 Hz, which ROSESELSA says removes 98.7 percent of everyday noise.
Engineering and use context
Decoding and headphone amplification run as independent modules around a Cadence Tensilica HiFi 5 DSP chip. The hybrid ANC is managed by an SOC algorithm, and the housings include a dedicated noise-cancelling cavity plus a physical anti-wind structure. Four listening modes are offered - full ANC, wind mode, transparency mode and normal. Four GoerTek silicon microphones feed an AI neural network algorithm for call noise reduction. A game mode trims latency to 54 ms. The buds are rated IPX5 against sweat and water. Shells and case are polycarbonate, the case has a glossy finish, and each earpiece ends in a rounded nozzle roughly 3.5 mm long. The box contains four pairs of silicone tips, a USB-C charging lead and printed documentation.
Pairing
The Ceramics X connects to phones, tablets and computers, and dual-device pairing lets two sources stay linked, though that feature cannot run while LDAC is active. The ROSELINK app for iOS and Android lets owners reassign the touch functions and offers HiFi, Pop and Rock presets, but it has no parametric equaliser.
Alternatives
A step up within the same family, the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra adds LHDC and LC3 codecs, Bluetooth 6.0 and a quoted 11 hours per charge with 40 hours in total.
