Technics SU-R1000 is a fully digital device. Signals from analog inputs are digitized, all their processing occurs in digital form. The output stages operate in class D, and all power supplies are pulsed. As we know, audiophiles do not respect such solutions too much, preferring time-tested class A/AB amplifiers. Well, the company set an ambitious task - to create a fully digital amplifier (without introducing hybrid circuits for current and voltage into the circuit design, like, say, Devialet Expert 220 Pro, which we recently reviewed), breaking all traditional canons on the topic of how such a device should sound.

According to established tradition, the company's engineers have applied several unique solutions to them. Technics SL-1200MK7 is a direct–drive vinyl record player. Direct-drive turntables use a slow-rotation motor that drives a support disc. Such a system has many advantages: for example, high rotational accuracy and torque, which ensures the durability and reliability of the components.

The updated turntable still uses a brushless motor, the accuracy of which is now provided by the proprietary digital amplifier JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization), powered by delta sigma modulation. The manufacturer promises a significant increase in the accuracy of disk rotation at all speeds.

In the GR2 model, the motor control signal is generated using a PWM signal generated by ΔΣ (delta sigma) modulation, a high-precision 1-bit digital-to-analog conversion method that is part of signal processing in Technics fully digital amplifiers using the patented JENO Engine technology.

The player received a reference disc with notches that allow using a strobe light to adjust each of the three supported rotation speeds (33.3, 45 and 78 rpm) as precisely as possible, which are selected by a pair of buttons located on the upper panel of the case.

The motor is equipped with a double rotor, which significantly reduces the load on the bearings, reduces vibrations and provides high torque. The electric motor is controlled using a high-precision system that was developed for Blu-ray players, which promotes rapid disc rotation and increases the stability of its rotation. Speeds of 33.3, 45 or 78 rpm are supported, which can be selected using the buttons.

The Technics SP-10RE-S reference-grade vinyl turntable system features a direct drive motor without a core and a heavy plate for stable rotation. It is equipped with a separate control unit to suppress the impact of unwanted noise on the main unit. These meticulous noise reduction measures ensure the highest S/N levels in the world.

The player has an updated motor that rotates the support disc according to the direct drive principle. The engine has a dual electromagnetic system, due to which it was possible to radically increase the smoothness of the ride and almost completely eliminate any vibrations.

The rich switching capabilities and network streaming capabilities of the Technics SC-CX700 audio system allow it to be used as a complete wireless stereo system and even an external TV audio system, thanks to the HDMI ARC port.

The Class D power amplifiers in the Technics SU-R1000 are made using proprietary JENO Engine technology, which ensures that there is no digital distortion of the signal and makes the sound transparent and balanced. Unlike the SL-40CBT, this turntable does not have a Bluetooth adapter - the model focuses on wired connection. It supports playback speeds of 33, 45 and 78 rpm, which makes it suitable for collections with rarer records.

The basis of the Technics EAH-AZ100 TWS headphones is still the Magnetic Fluid Driver developed by the company. This technology should reduce distortion and provide a more controlled, detailed sound. For compact TWS headphones, this is especially important because the driver, acoustic camera, electronics, and digital signal processing work in a very limited space.
