Magico

Magico S2 offers a 5” midrange driver with a 75 mm voice coil. This unit has a Gen 8 Nano-Tec cone and is built into a third-generation chassis. The midrange driver uses a neodymium-based motor system with two extra-large magnets to create a super-stabilized magnetic field in a 16 mm air gap. Bass is handled by a pair of 7” woofers, featuring 3” Gen 8 Nano-Tec cone voice coils, housed in a third-generation chassis. The speakers produce accurate, distortion-free low frequencies, with a great maximum sound pressure of 109 dB at 55 Hz.

The M9 speakers are the product of the latest technology and technology. The new 28mm beryllium dome tweeter M9 is now even more advanced. The diamond coating applied by chemical deposition makes its lightweight diaphragm incredibly rigid. As a result, the tweeter works with previously unattainable precision and microdynamics, revealing even more details in the musical material.

The midrange / woofer of the model is equipped with the same diaphragm and magnetic system as its midrange counterpart, but the basket and the sound coil on the titanium frame are new. All this allows it to develop a sound pressure of up to 120 dB@1 m in its frequency range. The same pressure, only at a frequency of 25 Hz, can be created by a 12” bass driver, also equipped with a new basket and a titanium-framed sound coil and the already mentioned Nano-Tec Gen 8 diffuser with an enlarged magnetic system.

One of the features of the Magico M6 is the body, which is manufactured using the latest aerospace technologies and consists of multilayer carbon fiber with a total thickness of 1.3 cm. Similar to the outer shell of the F-35 fighter, the design is 60 times better in weight/strength ratio compared to extruded aluminum (used in the S series), while being 50% lighter and reducing size by 30%. Curved outer walls minimize internal standing waves and eliminate external diffraction.

The 1.1-inch tweeter previously used in the MPro is responsible for the high frequencies in the Magico M3. The advanced geometry and diamond coating give it an almost perfect weight-to-stiffness ratio of the beryllium dome diaphragm. In addition, it features a high-pitched sound coil, a neodymium magnetic system tuned to match sensitivity and provide high overload capability while maintaining wide bandwidth and ultra-low distortion levels.

The most up-to-date research in the field of materials science and the study of carbon properties made it possible to create a new housing for the M2, similar to the M6 model. It consists of multiple layers of carbon fiber with a total thickness of 1 cm. Similar to the outer shell of the F-35 fighter, the M2 hull design is 60 times better in weight/strength ratio compared to extruded aluminum (used in the S series) and at the same time lighter by 50% and reduces size by 30%.

The S7 features three 10-inch bass speakers with an extremely powerful magnetic system and ultra-rigid aluminum diffusers capable of reproducing deep and powerful bass frequencies with high accuracy and speed. The sound coil has a large linear stroke (1.5 cm) and allows for clear and undistorted sound at levels up to 120 dB (50Hz/1m).

A 1-inch diamond-coated beryllium diaphragm tweeter with consistent sensitivity, wide band, and overload capability is responsible for the high frequencies of the model. A reliable moving system and a high-pitched sound coil reduce distortion and make it more convenient to "stitch" with a midrange speaker.

The new S3 branded tweeter is equipped with a 28mm diamond-coated beryllium diaphragm. Its design is almost the same as that of the flagship M9 model — the rigidity of the thin 28-millimeter beryllium dome is increased by applying a diamond coating several microns thick.

The Magico S2 is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker with four drivers. It includes a 1.1-inch (28 mm) diameter tweeter made of pure diamond-coated beryllium, a 5-inch diameter midrange driver, and two 7-inch diameter low-frequency drivers.

The model features a 28mm beryllium dome tweeter based on the platform and geometry of the M-Project tweeter. Together with Twitter, 152-mm midrange speakers with a MultiWall membrane consisting of carbon fiber coated with nanographene NG are working. NanoTec membranes of the eighth generation, developed by Magico, are installed in two 178 mm low-frequency speakers.

The front panel of the A5 acoustics is studded with radiators from the bottom to the very top — in addition to the midrange, three 9-inch basslines and a 28-mm treble are also used in the design. The basses use a sandwich membrane made of graphene and other materials, which provides very high rigidity. Their titanium coil is large, 5-inch, creates a stable magnetic field, which allows the bass to produce a sound pressure of 115 dB at a distance of a meter at 50 Hz with minimal distortion.

Magico is renowned for its uncompromising research and development projects, and the S2 project is no exception. During the development, a Polytec laser vibrometer was used to measure the vibration of the housing panels. This, combined with modern 3D modeling, allowed Magico engineers to eliminate potential resonances at an early stage, instead of dealing with them after the fact. The result is a compact and refined body made entirely of extruded aluminum, minimizing diffraction and providing maximum durability.
