Headphones — ROSESELSA Ceramics

The Ceramics is an entry-level true wireless earphone that first went on sale under the ROSE TECHNICS name at USD 39 and was later carried on under the ROSESELSA brand. It is the base model of the Ceramics family, which has since grown to include the Ceramics X, Ceramics Ultra and Ceramics MK2. The design uses a single dynamic driver per side, touch controls and Environmental Noise Cancellation for calls rather than active noise cancelling for music.

Key specs that matter

A 10 mm dynamic unit with a DLC (diamond-like carbon) diaphragm sits in each earpiece, backed by an N52 neodymium magnet. Impedance is 32 ohm and rated power 7 mW. Bluetooth 5.3 links the buds to a source over a range of about 15 m. Each bud carries a 40 mAh cell and the case a 400 mAh cell. ROSE TECHNICS originally rated 7 hours per charge and up to 28 hours in total with the case, while ROSESELSA rates 35 hours with Super Charge. A full top-up takes about half an hour, and a 10-minute charge gives roughly 2 hours of play. The whole set weighs 38.34 g, and a single earpiece measures 18.26 x 21 x 26 mm.

Engineering and use context

The shape of the housing came out of more than 70 design iterations checked against over 2,000 ear canals, aiming for a secure fit during daily wear. Lightning Latency Reduction brings delay down to 60 ms in game mode, which helps keep video and games in step with the audio. Two HD microphones per side run an ENC algorithm that the maker says removes about 90 percent of surrounding noise from calls. ROSESELSA rates water resistance at IPX5, while ROSE TECHNICS originally stated IP54. Charging runs through a USB-C port on the case. Three preset voicings, named HIFI, POP and ROCK, are selectable. Colour options have included black, pink, white and beige finishes, with names such as Samurai Black, Ivory White and Kaishi Beige.

Pairing

As a Bluetooth product the Ceramics connects directly to phones, tablets and computers, and the ROSESELSA version supports dual-device connection so two sources can stay paired at once. No wired input or dongle is involved, so there is no need for an external DAC or headphone amplifier.
