The amplifier demonstrates all its strengths: first of all, its modular design, in which each channel is autonomous (it has its own audio transmission scheme, independent connectors and a power supply unit), as before, the 9B3 amplifier modules are removable. This means that the 9B3 can be configured with fewer channels if its application area requires it, or it can be ordered immediately in a 3-, 4- or 5-channel version. As a result of the patented technology developed for the Bryston cubic series of amplifiers in collaboration with Dr. Salomi, intermodulation distortion decreased to 0.006 percent and total harmonic distortion to 0.005 percent at maximum power, which, as already mentioned, nevertheless increased significantly for each channel — up to 200 watts at 8 ohms load.
