The overall design of the new RI-101 is the same as that of the original RI-100 with identical power and output stages. But that's where the similarities end. The input stage in the power amplifier has been significantly updated, and the main updates included in the preamp section reduce noise levels. noise level, which provides improved resolution and "blackness". We've brought the RI-101's sound a little closer to that of the SIA-025 and introduced a much higher resolution volume control from our SL-103 and MP-L201 models, however, despite this, the RI-101 is still its own beast and offers
the listener its own unique musical experience.
