Dan D'Agostino Momentum C2 is a Complementary Four topology preamp using four JFET transistors in a complementary differential circuit. Provides an input impedance of more than 1 mOhm, reducing noise and improving signal quality.
The preamp plays a crucial role in music playback due to the moment at the playback stage when the music signal is particularly at risk of being degraded by noise and distortion. The use of three separate enclosures in the Relentless preamp design – a separate sound enclosure for each channel separated by a power/control section — solves these problems, as well as brings other benefits.
The Momentum C2Z does not replace the existing Momentum C2 , but is positioned as a complementary design developed to optimize the electrical interface between the preamplifier and power amplifier, with the aim of improving overall system performance.
