Сабвуферы — GoldenEar ForceField 40

The ForceField 40 is a powered subwoofer from GoldenEar's ForceField range, built with a substantial amplifier for serious bass reinforcement. GoldenEar has built a strong reputation for capable, value-focused subwoofers and speakers, competing effectively against considerably more expensive established rivals through careful engineering rather than premium pricing.

Position in line

It sits above the ForceField 30 in GoldenEar's ForceField subwoofer hierarchy, near the SuperSub X in overall positioning. The ForceField range sits below GoldenEar's flagship SuperSub models, offering a more accessible route into the brand's subwoofer engineering for buyers not chasing the absolute highest output figures.

Key specs that matter

Rated response is 24 Hz to 170 Hz. The built-in amplifier is rated at 1000 W, a substantial figure for the cabinet size. At 33.7 x 46.5 x 37.4 cm and 18.4 kg it is a moderately sized but powerful cabinet, suggesting an efficient driver and amplifier pairing rather than reliance on sheer cabinet volume for output.

Sound and use context

Expect powerful, well-controlled bass reinforcement suited to a serious home theatre or two-channel system - GoldenEar's reputation for punching above its price class should apply here, delivering output that competes credibly against considerably pricier rivals.

Pairing

Standard line-level or speaker-level subwoofer inputs work with any stereo or AV receiver offering a subwoofer output, so integration should present no particular challenge.

Alternatives

The ForceField 30 sits below this model in GoldenEar's range; the SuperSub X sits nearby with even more amplifier power, worth considering if this model's already substantial 1000 W figure proves insufficient for the room. This model's substantial 1000 W amplifier in a relatively compact cabinet reflects GoldenEar's value-focused engineering philosophy. A dealer or online configuration tool showing exact placement recommendations for a specific room size is worth consulting during setup.
