Напольная акустика — AudioNec Evo 1

The Evo 1 is a floorstanding loudspeaker from AudioNec, built with an unusually wide power tolerance and considerable weight. AudioNec is a French manufacturer with a specialist reputation for horn-influenced and ribbon-driver loudspeaker engineering, and the Evo range represents a serious expression of that broader house philosophy.

Position in line

It sits below the Evo 2 and above the OBi Mini in AudioNec's floorstanding hierarchy. This middle position between the compact OBi Mini and the larger Evo 2 makes the Evo 1 a sensible mainstream recommendation within AudioNec's broader catalogue, offering genuine scale without the Evo 2's likely greater size and price.

Key specs that matter

Rated response is 35 Hz to 45 kHz. Sensitivity is 90 dB into 8 ohms with a wide 30-200 W window. At 46 x 104 x 47 cm and 58 kg it is a substantial, heavy tower, its considerable weight consistent with AudioNec's characteristically dense cabinet construction.

Sound and use context

Expect a dynamic, wide-bandwidth presentation typical of AudioNec's engineering approach - the brand's reputation rests specifically on combining genuine dynamic ease with careful attention to cabinet resonance control, a combination that should come through clearly in this model's considerable sensitivity and substantial build.

Pairing

The 90 dB sensitivity and wide 30-200 W window admit both modest and fairly powerful amplifiers, broadening the amplifier choices available for this substantial tower.

Alternatives

The OBi Mini sits below this model in AudioNec's range as a more compact alternative; the Evo 2 sits above it for a larger room, worth comparing directly on cabinet scale before choosing between these positioned AudioNec floorstanding options. AudioNec relatively specialist reputation compared with more mainstream French rivals means a dealer demonstration is worthwhile before committing to a purchase, given the brand more limited international distribution outside its core European markets. A dealer demonstration alongside both the compact OBi Mini and larger Evo 2 helps clarify exactly where this specific model fits within the brand broader floorstanding catalogue. A rigid, well-positioned base also helps this substantial tower deliver its full potential in a given room. Toe-in adjustment at the listening seat remains a free, worthwhile tweak once placement is finalised.
