With no battery and no radio inside, the LIVE 100 has nothing to charge and nothing to pair.

The LIVE 100 connects directly to a smartphone, a tablet, a notebook computer or a pocket music player with a headphone output, and on handsets without that socket it needs a digital to analogue adapter. JBL describes the in-line control as a universal remote, so hands-free calling and voice assistant access are not tied to one phone platform. The black version carries the item code JBLLIVE100BLK.
