Наушники — Beyerdynamic AVENTHO 100

The AVENTHO 100 is a foldable wireless on-ear headphone from beyerdynamic, the German maker of studio and consumer headphones. It combines active noise cancelling with a transparency mode and pairs aluminium parts with textile surfaces in a frame that weighs 220 g. The European list price is EUR 199 including tax, and the finishes offered are black, brown and cream.

Key specs that matter

Both closed cups hold a 45 mm dynamic driver, and beyerdynamic specifies a range of 20 Hz to 22,000 Hz with a nominal impedance of 48 ohm. The Bluetooth 5.4 link supports SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless, and beyerdynamic quotes a reach of 15 m. Battery life is given as more than 60 hours without ANC, dropping to about 40 hours once ANC runs. A 15 minute charge through the USB-C port returns about 15 hours of playback.

Engineering and use context

Noise cancelling relies on four digital microphones, two feedforward and two feedback, while two further microphones handle environmental noise reduction for calls together with Qualcomm cVc processing. Being an on-ear design, the cushions press lightly against the ears instead of surrounding them, so the cups stay small. The arms fold inward and the cups swivel by 90 degrees, so the headphone collapses into a compact shape for the supplied soft carry bag. Ear pads can be replaced by the owner when they wear out. Multipoint lets the AVENTHO 100 hold connections to two sources at once, and Google Fast Pair shortens initial pairing with Android handsets. The beyerdynamic app gives access to the headphone settings. The Bluetooth profile list covers A2DP 1.4, AVRCP 1.6.2, HFP 1.9, AVDTP 1.3, AVCTP 1.4, GAVDP 1.3, SPP 1.2 and RFCOMM 1.2. In the box are an AUX cable, a charging lead with a USB-C plug, an adapter for older USB-A ports, the bag and a quick guide.

Pairing

A phone or computer with aptX Adaptive or aptX Lossless support makes the most of the codec list, while iPhones and most Macs connect over AAC. With the supplied AUX cable the headphone can also be plugged into an in-flight socket, a laptop jack or a headphone amplifier, where the load is easy for most outputs. Owners who switch between a phone and a work laptop during the day benefit from multipoint.

Alternatives

The beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 is the over-ear model above it, adding Dolby Atmos with head tracking at a US price of USD 399.
