ProAc Response D30RS Mahogany Speaker System

ProAc has updated the D30 model to the D30S. The dome or ribbon tweeter versions are called the Response D30DS or D30RS, respectively.
ProAc developed a new bass driver using a cone similar to that found in the D48. The cone is made of cellulose and mica and coated with an acoustic lacquer. It also features a phase-correcting insert, which increases detail at the crossover frequency and delivers a more natural sound.

The Response D30S boasts an incredibly smooth frequency response. New bass drivers and filters provide improved midrange detail and a wider soundstage.

The ProAc Response D30RS accurately reproduces sound images, with deep bass, excellent detail, and a neutral midrange. They also feature a simple resistive load, expanding amplifier selection. The D30S uses high-quality filters and can be bi-wired or bi-amped using premium terminals. The D30DS/RS dimensions remain the same as the D30.

Woofer/Midrange: 175 mm driver with a cellulose and mica cone, coated with acoustic lacquer and a phase-aligning insert.
Tweeter: ProAc's signature 60 x 10 mm ribbon tweeter with a rear-mounted damping chamber.
Crossover: High-quality components on a custom printed circuit board. Multi-strand oxygen-free copper wiring. Bi-wiring or bi-amping is possible.
Grille: Acoustically transparent crimplene.

ProAc Response D30RS loudspeakers are available in standard finishes: Black Ash, White Silk, Cherry, Mahogany, Walnut, and Light Oak. and in premium: ebony and rosewood.
