ProAc Response D30R Cherry Speaker System

The ProAc Response D30R is a floorstanding speaker system with a carbon fiber cone woofer and a ribbon tweeter. ProAc has recently been actively using modern materials in the driver design of its speaker systems. For example, the Response D40 and Carbon Pro 8 woofers feature carbon fiber cones, while the Tablette Anniversary and K6 models feature Kevlar cones. The use of new materials has allowed ProAc to achieve a completely new level of sound quality in its speaker systems. Over the past few years, the company's engineers have conducted extensive scientific research. The results of this research were used in the design of the latest ProAc Response D30R floorstanding speaker.

The carbon fiber woofers of the ProAc Response D30R feature a very fine weave and are polymer-coated on the back. The speakers are housed in compact, elegant enclosures with a bass-reflex design similar to that of the D40 model. This design allows the ProAc Response D30 speakers to produce very clear, precise, yet powerful and deep bass. The ribbon tweeter in the Response D30R features a 60x10mm diaphragm, weighing less than a human hair. This tweeter is equipped with a special damping chamber.

The speaker crossover utilizes high-quality components, the internal wiring is made of multi-strand oxygen-free copper cable, and the terminal panel allows for bi-amping/bi-wiring.

ProAc Response D30R speakers are available in the following finishes: Black Ash, Cherry, Mahogany, and Walnut. Ebony and Rosewood finishes are available as optional extras.
