ProAc Response D30 Mahogany Speaker System

The ProAc Response D30 is a floorstanding speaker system featuring a carbon fiber cone woofer and a classic silk dome tweeter with an air-cooled voice coil. ProAc has recently been actively incorporating modern materials into the driver design of its speaker systems. For example, the Response D40 and Carbon Pro 8 woofers feature carbon fiber cones, while the Tablette Anniversary and K6 models feature Kevlar cones. The use of new materials has allowed ProAc to achieve a completely new level of sound quality in its speaker systems. Over the past few years, the company's engineers have conducted extensive scientific research. The results of this research were used in the design of the latest ProAc Response D30 floorstanding speaker.

The carbon fiber woofers of the ProAc Response D30 feature a very fine weave and are polymer-coated on the back. The speakers are housed in compact, elegant enclosures with a bass-reflex design similar to that of the D40 model. This design allows the ProAc Response D30 speakers to produce very clear, precise, yet powerful and deep bass. The D30's dome tweeter features a 1-inch silk diaphragm and an air-cooled system.

The speaker system's crossover utilizes high-quality components, the internal wiring is made of multi-strand oxygen-free copper cable, and the terminal panel allows for bi-amping/bi-wiring.
