The Eartube Mark II is a new version of the well-known Eartube headphone amplifier. The new model features a new case design, now fully consistent with the styling of other AudioValve models, as well as improved performance and new features.
The AudioValve Eartube Mark II is a vacuum tube amplifier that operates in pure Class A. With impressive power output (up to 3.5 watts per channel when driving 100-ohm headphones), it is ideal for use with a wide range of headphones (with impedances from 8 to 200 ohms) and is equipped with speaker terminals that can be used with a pair of 8-ohm speakers.
The AudioValve Eartube Mark II amplifier utilizes a purely vacuum tube audio path. As in other AudioValve models, semiconductors are used here only to precisely stabilize the anode current of the vacuum tubes.
The AudioValve Eartube Mark II is distinguished by its traditionally high-quality workmanship and exterior finish, as well as an exceptionally natural and comfortable sound.
Furthermore, the German company has announced another version of this amplifier, the AudioValve Eartube Mark II-USB, which features a built-in digital audio player for USB flash drives and SD cards. The AudioValve Eartube Mark II-USB supports MP3 and WAV audio files and is equipped with a built-in FM tuner.
