The AT6012 has jacks for an external up/down rocker switch; these switches can adjust the volume. Simple, three-wire Phoenix connectors allow you to adjust the volume in any room at an exceptionally low cost. Because we use high-quality, motorized gain controllers instead of cheap potentiometers, the AT6012 delivers sound quality far superior to conventional in-wall controls. Add six up/down buttons, a CD player, and speakers, and you have a complete multi-room system with sound quality equal to or even superior to any expensive multi-room system on the market.

With 60 watts per channel and the same amplification circuits used in ATI home theater amplifiers, the AT6012 delivers enough power to drive virtually any speaker, while delivering sound quality that will satisfy the most demanding professionals.

A multi-room amplifier must be especially reliable, as it is used almost daily and must be rack-mountable, making it difficult to access. The AT6012, like other ATI amplifiers, is designed and built with reliability in mind. Its optically coupled protection circuit disables the outputs whenever an overload occurs. It checks the load every 10 seconds, restoring the outputs only when the overload is removed, without using a relay.

When we designed the AT6012, we didn't sacrifice functionality for the sake of more channels. We included all the components that make ATI amplifiers sound great and operate reliably. The AT6012 uses bifilar-wound toroidal transformers, double-sided fiberglass circuit boards, and separate smoothing capacitors and rectifiers for each of its 12 channels. With dedicated power supplies for each channel, you can crank up the volume for a party in one room without compromising the volume in other rooms.

A remote trigger allows devices such as multi-room controllers, advanced touchscreen systems, or simple wall switches to automatically turn the AT6012 on and off.
