KEF has released the impressive KEF LS Luxe speakers; within the company's lineup, they sit between the compact LS50 Wireless II and the floor-standing LS60. Measuring 298 x 223 x 336 mm and weighing 20 kg per pair, they are priced at €4,000.

The KEF LS50 Meta are among the most popular bookshelf speakers in the world today. With careful system matching, they punch well above their weight class in terms of sound quality, competing convincingly with far more expensive designs. That said, 85 dB sensitivity and impedance dips down to 3.2 ohms impose very strict demands on amplification. In many hastily assembled setups, these speakers can sound pale and lifeless - literally draining every last drop of power from the amplifier.

KEF has updated its flagship Blade Meta speakers – some of the previous finishes will be replaced by Grigio, Garnet, and Sapphire. The speakers' internals will remain unchanged – they feature 12th-generation Uni-Q coaxial drivers with Metamaterial Absorption Technology.

The KEF LSX II loudspeakers now is available in several color options, allowing it to fit seamlessly into any interior. However, the new designer version does not strive for restraint - on the contrary, it wants to be the center of attention: the KEF LSX II Limited Edition Solaris Yellow is made in bright yellow.
