Danish company Buchardt Audio has released the E50-S passive bookshelf loudspeakers, developed on the basis of the popular E50 model introduced in 2024. The manufacturer stresses that the new model is not intended to replace the original version, but rather to offer a different sonic character and different amplification requirements. The Buchardt Audio E50-S features higher sensitivity, a less pronounced low-frequency response and a more prominent midrange, which is why both models will remain on sale.

Danish company Buchardt Audio has released the third version of its most well-known bookshelf loudspeaker, the S400 MK3. The updated model features a larger cabinet, new drivers, and a redesigned crossover, while also undergoing significant structural changes compared with previous versions. Although Buchardt Audio cannot boast a century-long history like some other Scandinavian manufacturers, the brand has built a solid reputation in recent years. This was made possible by a successful concept: relatively compact loudspeakers capable of delivering a bigger and fuller sound than their size would suggest. It was precisely this philosophy that made the original S400 so well known, followed by the S400 MKII with an updated crossover and higher-quality internal components, and later the S400 MKII Signature with additional tuning refinements. Now, in 2026, the company takes the next step and brings the platform to a new level with the release of the S400 MK3.

Bowers & Wilkins has introduced what it calls the best bookshelf loudspeaker system in the 700 Series – the Bowers & Wilkins 707 Prestige Edition. The new model is not a radical departure from previous speakers in the range, but it incorporates more technologies borrowed from such successful loudspeakers as the 705 S3 Signature and the 800 Series.

The Eversolo brand, owned by China’s Zidoo Technology, is well known for its desktop DACs, as well as network players and amplifiers. The German loudspeaker manufacturer Bärbox presented its first product – the floorstanding loudspeaker B.01 – in the summer of 2025. The company has now introduced a new A series, which includes the floorstanding A.01 and the bookshelf A.02, both featuring horn-loaded tweeters. Both models are available in two finish options.

Hi-Fi brand Starke Sound has expanded its Beta loudspeaker series with the introduction of the most compact model, the Starke Sound Beta5. Morel has introduced the Morel Sopran 622 bookshelf loudspeakers, which are the most compact model in the Sopran lineup. The new speakers are built using advanced materials, including carbon-fiber composite diaphragms, enlarged titanium voice coils, and neodymium magnets. This is a two-way bookshelf speaker system designed for music lovers who want reference-level sound quality without filling the room with large floorstanding speakers.
