Fosi Audio has introduced the DAP Neo, a portable audio player that blends modern music playback technology with iconic ergonomic - highlighted by a distinctive control wheel on the front panel.

The Fosi Audio DAP Neo is the first device in the new "Fosi Moment" product line. It features a CNC-machined metal chassis and measures 97 × 47 × 10.6 mm. The front panel houses a 2.4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels. Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by a Cirrus Logic CS43198 chip, paired with a dedicated clock generator. The player supports a wide range of audio formats, including MP3, FLAC, WAV, APE, M4A, and DSD, encompassing high-resolution, lossless music. It includes a standard 3.5mm jack for wired headphones, while built-in Bluetooth allows for the use of wireless models.

In addition to playing music from a memory card, the Fosi Audio DAP Neo can function as an external USB DAC when connected to a computer. Music libraries are stored on a removable microSD card; the manufacturer offers versions that include either a 16GB or 64GB card, with support for capacities up to 256GB. The device’s battery provides 12 hours of playback on a single charge. The recommended retail price is 90 euros for the version with a 16GB memory card, and 140 euros for the version with a 64GB card.
