The Polk Audio React Sub is a wireless powered subwoofer designed specifically for Polk React series sound bars. It adds low bass to the sound bar for films, TV and music and connects without a signal cable.

The React Sub uses a seven-inch long-throw driver loaded by a flared port tube that reduces turbulence. The cabinet measures 419 x 218 x 348 mm and weighs 7.5 kg.

Engineering and use context

Pairing with the sound bar takes a two-button process. Once the sub is linked, Polk Bass Adjust automatically rebalances the bass EQ of the sound bar to account for it, and bass level can be changed by voice through Amazon Alexa. The plain enclosure is meant to sit out of sight in a living room.
