Vincent is a German hi-fi brand registered in 1995 by Sintron Vertriebs GmbH, now Sintron Distribution GmbH, of Iffezheim in Baden. Its signature product type is the hybrid amplifier that pairs a valve input or driver stage with a transistor output stage, while today the catalogue also covers preamplifiers, power amplifiers, CD players, DACs, phono stages and cables. Sintron has kept developing the brand continuously since that first registration and still runs it today.
Range & what it's known for
The current catalogue is organised in four lines. tubeLine gathers the valve and hybrid components, from preamplifiers and power amplifiers to integrated amplifiers, CD players and DACs. powerLine covers a broader mix of amplification and source equipment, solidLine 2.0 is reserved for purely transistor designs, and cableLine supplies interconnects and loudspeaker cables. Milestones the company lists include the SV-226 of 1996, its first hybrid integrated amplifier, the CD-S1 of 2000, its first CD player with a valve output stage, and the SV-737 of 2020, an integrated amplifier with streaming built in. The SA-T7 Diamond appeared as a limited edition in 2023 and 2024.
Who owns it and where it's made
Vincent belongs to Sintron, the Iffezheim company that registered the name and has developed every product since. Engineering is done in Germany. Series production runs with manufacturing partners in Asia, a cooperation that dates back to 1994, and Sintron staff visit those plants regularly to check the work. The company stresses that many production steps remain manual, which lets it change individual components. The first products were the LS-1 valve preamplifier and the D150 hybrid power amplifier, sold as a pair in 1995.
The lineup in this catalog
Amplifiers and DACs. Vincent components cost between roughly EUR 1,000 and EUR 5,000.
Who it's for
With Vincent a buyer gets valves in the signal path without giving up transistor current for ordinary loudspeakers. A sensible start is a tubeLine hybrid integrated amplifier, with the option of later moving to a tubeLine pre and power amplifier pair, or adding a matching tubeLine CD player or DAC. Listeners who prefer no valves at all can stay with the brand through solidLine 2.0, and cableLine completes a system from one source.
