Semmaa Audio
Website:https://semmaaaudio.nl/
Semmaa Audio is a Dutch loudspeaker maker based in Haarlem that hand-cuts and assembles its speakers in its own workshop after eight years of development.
Range & what it's known for
The range has three models. The entry model is a compact two-way system, Small Reality is a compact speaker in the REALITY series, and Reality One is the top model. Reality One splits its drivers across three separate, individually adjustable enclosures to control phase, with a beryllium tweeter, dedicated midrange drivers and a tapered quarter-wave pipe bass section. Its passive crossovers are fully hard-wired with no printed circuit boards and sit in a separate housing, so owners can choose the internal cables and their lengths. Dimmable ambient lighting between the sections and custom colour finishes are options.
Who owns it and where it's made
The company is owner-run and registered in Haarlem, where it also keeps a listening room open for private sessions by appointment. Design, cutting and assembly all take place in its Dutch workshop.
The lineup in this catalog
Floorstanding loudspeakers, represented by the REALITY ONE, which starts at EUR 38,900.
Who it's for
Listeners in the Netherlands and beyond who want a hand-assembled multi-enclosure floorstander with configurable crossover wiring, and who are willing to audition it at the maker's own room before buying.
