Premiera is a Russian audio brand whose trademark belongs to AO Firma MMS. Under this name the company sells budget hi-fi equipment, including vinyl turntables, stereo amplifiers and loudspeakers for music and home theatre, with the Ultra series of belt-drive record players as its best-known products.
Range & what it's known for
The Ultra turntables come in three versions that share the same mechanics. The Ultra X is the base deck, the Ultra XL adds a built-in MM phono stage and Bluetooth 5.3, and the Ultra XXL adds an ADC for digitising records. A DC servo motor with an optical sensor drives a removable aluminium platter by belt, the tonearm has an effective length of 224.2mm, and there is auto stop. Finishes are black or white matte lacquer and walnut-look PVC.
Who owns it and where it's made
The Premiera name is owned by AO Firma MMS, a Russian company that develops and sells audio electronics. The turntables are produced to order for MMS.
