The DAC section is built on a dual CS43198 chip from Cirrus Logic, and signal amplification is provided by two SGM8262 modules from SG Micro. The maximum output power is 500 MW at 32 ohms with balanced connection, and the low output resistance, not exceeding 0.4/0.8 ohms, allows the amplifier to confidently handle most headphones.
Mystic XP1
DACs
The ONIX Mystic XP1 is based on a pair of flagship AK4499EX DAC chips from Asahi Kasei, which work with the AK4191 delta sigma modulator. The fully balanced headphone amplifier is based on the TPA6120A2 operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments and is optimized for use with full-size headphones. The additional Muses8920 chip serves balanced analog outputs – linear and adjustable.
