Jade Audio, styled JadeAudio, is a sub-brand created in 2019 by the Chinese portable audio company FiiO. It is FiiO's value label, aimed at younger listeners who want compact, affordable gear, and it covers headphone amplifiers, portable players, a USB DAC, headphones and earphones.

Range & what it's known for

The best-known current product is the GIGAS 1, a pure analogue desktop headphone amplifier with a discrete Class AB circuit using four ON Semiconductor power transistors per channel. It delivers up to 4,600 mW per channel balanced, offers 4.4 mm balanced and 3.5 mm outputs, RCA and 3.5 mm inputs and two gain settings, and runs from 5 V USB or 12 V USB PD power. Beside it sit the JM21 Android player with a Snapdragon 680 chip, the KA15 USB DAC, the JT1 closed headphone with 50 mm drivers and the JD7 earphones.

Who owns it and where it's made

JadeAudio belongs to FiiO, which develops and markets its products alongside its own FiiO-branded range, and many retailers list the models under both names.

The lineup in this catalog

Headphone amplifiers, represented by the GIGAS 1, which gives 1,400 mW single-ended into 32 ohms in addition to its balanced output.

Who it's for

JadeAudio suits headphone users on a tight budget, in particular owners of planar-magnetic or high-impedance headphones who need a lot of clean power from a small box fed by a computer or phone. Those who later want a full player can step to the JM21 within the same label.
