Fluance is a Canadian audio company founded in 1999 by Deepak Jain and headquartered in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is known for belt-drive turntables, powered speakers and home theater speaker packages sold directly online, and it marked its 25th anniversary in 2024. The company ships worldwide from warehouses in the United States and Canada, and its stated origin was to make quality home audio affordable for buyers priced out of high-end gear.
Range & what it's known for
Turntables are the best-known part of the range. The RT series runs from the RT81 and RT82 through the RT85 reference model to the RT87, a newer dual-plinth deck whose base uses two levels and isolation feet, fitted at the factory with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. Powered speakers include the RI71 bookshelf and RI91 tower models, both with AMT tweeters and HDMI ARC inputs. Passive floorstanding, bookshelf, bipolar surround and center channel speakers plus subwoofers complete the catalog.
Who owns it and where it's made
Fluance remains led from its Niagara Falls base, and the company reports around 500,000 customers worldwide since it started. The company sells mostly through its own web store, which lets it offer a 30-day in-home trial and direct shipping without a retail chain in between. The website does not name the factories that build the products. Early on the company focused on speakers, with surround, bipolar and subwoofer models making up much of its first catalog before turntables joined.
The lineup in this catalog
Turntables and loudspeakers. The models listed here cost from roughly USD 150 to USD 800, a spread that takes in the cheapest decks, the dual-plinth RT87 and passive speakers.
Who it's for
Buyers setting up a first serious vinyl system or a compact living room speaker setup who are comfortable ordering online. Many owners begin with an RT81 or RT82 and a pair of powered speakers, then move up to the RT85 or RT87 and the RI71 or RI91. Home theater owners can build a full surround package from the passive center, surround and subwoofer models.
