Divaldi is a Polish audio manufacturer based in Kraków, founded in 1988, that began by designing sound systems for clubs and AV installations before turning into a series producer of home audio electronics. Its catalogue centres on compact machined-aluminium components such as the AMP-05 headphone amplifier and the Gold series of amplifiers, with the visual design treated as seriously as the circuit.
Range & what it's known for
The catalogue spans headphone amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, preamplifiers, speaker sets, power conditioners and audio furniture. The Gold series covers the GOLD IN ONE integrated, the GOLD PA ONE power amplifier and the GOLD PRE ONE preamplifier. The AMP-05 headphone amplifier succeeded the earlier AMP-01 and AMP-02, and its Special Edition was shown at Audio Video Show 2024 in a Gold variant with gilded accents on the top and bottom edges. Divaldi favours small cases cut from a solid aluminium block, which also act as heatsinks for the circuitry inside.
Who owns it and where it's made
Divaldi is an independent Polish company with its offices and workshop at ul. Królowej Jadwigi 104 in Kraków. Products are designed and built there, and the circuit boards combine surface-mount parts with through-hole components that are selected and paired by hand. In Poland the brand works with the distributor Audeos.
The lineup in this catalog
Headphone amplifiers. The AMP-05 SE Gold is a Class A amplifier built as two mono channels, each with its own stabilised supply, 0.9 W output with a 1 W or 2 W power switch, loads of 16 to 600 ohms, RCA and 3.5 mm inputs and 6.35 mm, 4-pin XLR and 4.4 mm Pentaconn outputs.
Who it's for
On a desk, Divaldi offers a small, heavy, metal-bodied amplifier that drives anything from low-impedance planar headphones to 600-ohm dynamic models from single-ended or balanced cables. The case measures 115 x 55 x 102 mm and weighs 0.7 kg, powered by a 16 V AC external supply, so it sits easily beside a laptop or a DAC. Owners who later want to drive loudspeakers can stay with the brand and move to the Gold series amplifiers.
