Deus Audio Machines is an American maker of very large infrasonic subwoofers and matching amplifiers, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is a small specialist company whose products are built in house and aimed at dedicated cinemas, studios and serious music rooms.

Range & what it's known for

The best known model is the Invicta 60, a subwoofer built around a 60-inch driver that stands nearly six feet tall and is quoted down to 8 Hz with 20,000 W of power handling. The newer Invicta 40 uses a rectangular carbon fibre woofer with the radiating area of a 40-inch cone in a cabinet only 14.5 inches deep. The range also includes the Vera 18 MK2, the Tetra 10 in-wall unit with four shallow 10-inch woofers, the Tesseract 18 for hi-fi, and the AMP2.2500 and AMP2.6000 amplifiers.

Who owns it and where it's made

Deus Audio Machines works from its own facility in Salt Lake City, where the subwoofers are designed and assembled with custom-developed drivers. Public sources do not name an outside parent company.

The lineup in this catalog

Who it's for

Deus Audio is meant for owners of large dedicated rooms who plan bass around infrasonic extension. Smaller or in-wall projects can start with the Tetra 10 or Invicta 40, while the Invicta 60 sits at the top of the range.
